These Terms govern your use of The Edit (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
You must be at least 16 to use The Edit. You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
The Edit uses AI to suggest outfits and styling from the wardrobe items and preferences you provide. Suggestions are for inspiration only — they are personal styling ideas, not professional, medical, or financial advice. We don’t guarantee that any suggestion will suit a given occasion, or that items shown in shopping results are in stock, accurately priced, or available.
The Service may show links to third-party retailers. Some are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase — at no additional cost to you. We don’t sell the products, set their prices, or fulfil orders, and we’re not responsible for third-party retailers or your transactions with them.
You keep ownership of the photos and information you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you (including sending it to our AI providers to generate suggestions). You’re responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.
Don’t misuse the Service: no unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service; and no use of another person’s account without permission.
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to The Edit and is protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you any rights in our intellectual property beyond using the Service as intended.
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Edit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where The Edit operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer law provides otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
